Job description

• Assist clients ( proponents a nd c onsultants) regarding t he Environmental Impact Assessment ( EIA) process a nd giving t hem the c hecklist of a ll permits needed to s ecure p rior to construction/operation based in t heir proposed project after t he issuance of ECC.

• Processing of Environmental Compliance C ertificates (ECCs) application for Environmental Critical Projects.

• Conducts P ublic Consultations and Public Participations as part of Philippine Environmental Impact Statement System (PEISS) process for ECC applications of proposed projects.

• Conducts P rocedural S creening of E IA documents (Environmental Impact Statement ( EIS) or Environmental P e rformance Report and Management P lan (EPRMP)) s ubmitted by the p roponents for their ECC application or amendment and makes recommendation to E IA Evaluation Section C hief on acceptability or return of the document within the prescribed t imeframe by EMB.

• Review and assessment of E IA documents (E IA and EPRMP) submitted by t he p roponents f or their ECC application t ogether with experts of EIA modules (G eology, A ir and Water Quality, Sociology, Ecology, Land Use Planning, Engineering, Etc.,)

• Prepares R eview Process Report a nd d rafts ECC for review/endorsement by EIAMD Chief.

• Assist to conduct environmental compliance audit to a ll Environmental Critical Projects (ECPs).

• Prepare C ompliance Evaluation Reports upon t he review a nd evaluation of C ompliance Monitoring R eports (CMRs) and/or S elf Monitoring R eports (SMRs) submitted by t he p roponents and Multipartite Monitoring Teams (MMTs), respectively.

• Processing of request for major or minor ECC amendment or EIS/EPRMP changes or relief of ECC Conditions.

• Conduct of Field I nvestigation/Inspection to Environmental Critical Projects and preparation of Inspection Report.

• Assessment, preparation or recommendation of Notice of Adverse Findings ( NAFs) or Notice of Violations (NOVs) or C ease and Decease Order (COD) from inspected projects.

• Provide Assistance to p rivate companies and other government agencies on the compliance of Philippine Environmental Laws. P R O F I L E
