Worked in NALCO WATER WORKS as a “STP OPERATOR” from 17th October 2008 to 08th April 2011.

Worked in JUSCO (Jamshedpur Water Workers). as a “STP OPERATOR” from 20th June 2011 to 10th November 2013.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Trouble shooting, operation high scale sewage treatment plant (Capacity more than 200000M3/Day) Maintaining Log records, repair, maintenance, inspection of mechanical equipments and large electrical panels.

System Handling & its Operation: To remove settled grit of influent by means of girl collector from grit collecting chamber. To elevate & dispose grit collecting chamber by means of rotary screw conveyor.

Aeration: To dissolve oxygen, here the DO level is maintained to get 1.2 to 2.2 mg/Lt. A mixer of influent and return activated sludge is aerate, which is also state as mix liquor. Concentration of MLSS is maintained to achieve 2500 to 3500mg/lt. Quantity are monitored in regular intervals hydraulics loads are monitored to change the mode of operation.

Effluent Station Reservoir: To feed the reservoir irrigation requirement. This is connected to al the irrigational requirement. This is achieved by operating the reservoir irrigation pumps.

Clarifier: To settle suspended solids of mix liquor. Here the suspended solid are made to settle at the slope of 20 degree base and scrapped by the Mechanical scrapper into sludge hopper. This RAS is collected wet well. By adjusting the rate of flow RAS pumps are supernatant to clarifier is overflowed through the V notches. To scrap floating scum solids of surface supernatant. Here the floating scum. Sludge ash and debris are made to scrap from the surface of supernatant by scum skimmer to feed in rotating weir from here it flows into RAS well which is pumped into retreat.

Chlorination: Booster pumps are designed to supply & maintain the line pressure for chlorinators. Dosage of chlorine is fed with respect to the flow of sand filters in auto mode & to get 0.5mg/Lt. In residual analyzer. This is achieved by dosing f chlorine gas. Continues—02
