Veterinarian assistant

Hello! My name is Belen. I am ** years old and I’m a current online veterinarian assistant student. I have plenty experience working with animals.

I was veterinarian assistant in Mexico for 2 years, my first year started as a volunteer walking dogs, cleaning cages, feed, administrate medicine, in winter used to go everyday to set some covers due the animal shelter was outdoors.

I have a lot of passion on animals. The veterinarian Dr. saw my dedication, my passion and my loving plus I did a paramedic service during my high school, she decided to turn me on her assistant. She taught me a lot of things that are involved with spay and neutered surgeries (requirements as fasting, weight, anesthesia, antibiotics, anti inflammatory etc)

After that she created her organization. And she took me with her to start to organize campaigns of spay and neutered, vaccines and basic health at a low cost to the most poor and far areas when people doesn’t have a vet practice close to them. Also we use to organize speech to teach about animal care, laws and etc

I arrived to US working as a nanny. I was planning to finish my course and start to look for a job but now the family I’m working with probably is gonna quit the nanny program.

My passion for animals is extremely huge. I have people in US that know me very well including an officer, I used to work with their pets, so they could be a reference.

I know very well I’m still a student. But I’m sure I can be a good part of your team.

I live in Silver Spring, but I can easily move to Baltimore with no problem
