OBJECTIVE:

To advance and utilize my skills in computer aided design and machining. EMPLOYMENT HISTORY:

Evolution Tool Lapeer Mi.

08/15/2018 -present

I machine details to print on a Bridgeport for automotive gauges and the Aerospace industry. I utilize a Prototrack, and Acurite interface on the Bridgeports and complete details on a three axis knee mill with a Centroid interface that transposes conversational commands to G-code. I open up Catia files of models with Tetra software, and isolate details to get dimensions for machining. I correctly machine compound angles per Trig formula, and machine parts for right and left hand assemblies. Make fixtures. I relocate hole locations from data from a Coordinate Measuring Machine (laser tracker) from the CMM department, pick up the vector of a dowel, and then make the moves. Bore holes for bushings for a light press fit. . I make fixtures and tools and error correct digital readouts and have dowel locations checked by the CMM department.

Industrial Automation LLC Rochester Hills MI.

10/16/2017- 08/01/2018

I made details to print on Bridgeport with EZtrack interface. I surface ground parts when dictated by tolerances. I ran a Devlieg boring mill to do basic operations like facing, drilling and tapping. I Indicated plates on an angle on the boring mill, and then picked up the datum from a dowel pin in a construction hole and machined details. I made tools such as a four inch diameter indexable cutter with carbide inserts, a shallow bore gage, and I would use a surface grinder to finish grind plates on a sine bar set to gage blocks.

Casemer Tool and Machine Oxford, MI.

06/2016- 08/2017

I ran details on a manual Boring Mill and Bridgeport mills with Acurite and Prototrack interfaces. I error correct both interfaces in parts per million with standards. Clean glass readout scales. I ran manual lathes to make setup pins and to make alterations to parts

Advanced Feed Lines, Troy, MI.

09/2012- 06/2016 Machinist

1

I setup, program, and operate a 3 axis Hurco VMC with a conversational interface and machine details. I program helixes to remove material quickly, set my bore gage, and bore out holes to the median of a (.0005) thousandth tolerance. I hold 10th’s. I ran details on a Bridgeport and wrote programs from scratch, or edit and run existing programs. I work Saturdays and Sundays to make parts on short notice when assemblers need them to expedite the completion of jobs to meet delivery dates. I train people to run milling machines. I devise innovative setups and fixtures to solve machining problems and make tools.

I work with engineers and CAD designers to optimize the manufacture of both details, and production parts.

Supreme Tool Incorporated, Waterford, MI.

12/2009 – 09/2012 Administrative Assistant, Production Operator and General Labor

I setup and operated 3 axis VMC’S with both Hass and Dynapath Interfaces. Download program from file, read set up sheet, indicate vice or fixture, set datum and fixture offset, zeroed tools, and ran production. I did some programming and editing. I ran production on Haas lathes and set and zero tools. I checked parts for conformity to tolerances throughout the production run, and entered tool compensation values as necessary as the tools wear. I looked at prints, and considered the optimum routing; mill or lathe first, then fabrication, then final machining. I set up, programed, and operated Bridgeports with Prototrack interfaces. I set datum, wrote program, and ran simple details. When required, I converted metric dimensions to standard dimensions and vice versa, and I’m familiar with right and left handed parts and assemblies as well.

I recognized and used G and M codes. I inspected parts for conformity to print tolerances and wrote up work orders to send them for various other processes such as heat treating, broaching, black oxide, anodizing, or zinc plating. I’m also a band saw operator and a Hilo driver. I sawed 1018, 4150, 6061 Aluminum, 0-1, A2, Stainless Steel, Ammco brass, and a myriad of plastics such as nylon, delrin, and UHMW. I spotted errors on prints and work orders with regard to dimensions and quantity of material, and notified management to take corrective action. Paravis Industries Incorporated, Auburn Hills, MI. 03/2009 - 05/2009 Production Operator

Ran production on Hurco vertical milling centers. Checked parts on surface plates for conformity to print tolerances and filled out QS 9000 forms. Paravis Industries Incorporated, Auburn Hills, MI. 11/2008 - 12/2008 Production Operator

Ran production on Hurco vertical milling centers. Checked parts on surface plates for conformity to print tolerances and filled out QS 9000 forms 2

Dallas Industries Incorporated, Troy, MI.

02/1998 - 09/2008 Machinist

Operated vertical mills to complete parts. Worked with assemblers. Choose tool paths. Qualified and machined castings and burnouts. I machined parts from CRS, TGP, aluminum, and brass for press feeding and coil handling equipment. I cut keyways, faced off, and squared up metal blocks. Bored holes when preferable to interpolation. Drilled and tapped bolt patterns.

Indicate and set up indexable heads on dial Bridgeports. Programed for offsets on CNCs. Made fixtures and sharpened tools. Ran production and details. Applied Trigonometry to solve machining problems. These duties included set up, edit, and programming of an Acurite 2-axis CNC on a Bridgeport, similar to Prototrack

(conversational interface). Set up and programed 3-axis Hurco VMC and operated Hass and Hurco vertical milling centers.

I ran two or more CNCs simultaneously, while performing operators checks before a first part submission to the QS 9000 lab. I worked from both prints and sketches. I drove Hilo daily, built crates and skids and shipped machinery, operated band saws, calculated quantity of steel needed for both job and stock parts, and submited orders to purchasing department. When needed, I inventoried steel. Clean Cut Incorporated, Westland, MI.

04/1988 - 02/1998 Foreman

Summer: Managed a two to ten man lawn crew, produced cost estimations for clients, and had overall responsibility for maintenance and repair of equipment. Winter: Plowed snow and salted parking lots and operated heavy equipment. EDUCATION:
