August 2015 - January 2020: Conference Planner, Canadian Transport Lawyers Association, Toronto ON Accountable to the Executive Board and Provincial Directors with responsibilities managing membership applications/renewals/inquiries, maintain sponsor relationships, logistical planning and operational support for annual general meeting and educational conferences throughout Canada. Prepared, planned, and successfully produced annual conferences in Halifax, Ottawa, Montreal & Winnipeg for CTLA.

May 2011- August 2015: Meeting Planner, Excelsior Legal Management, Toronto, ON Prepared, planned and executed the Annual General Meeting and Education Seminar for the Canadian Maritime Law Association held in Toronto, Ontario for law delegates. Organized and produced three-day Meeting in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario for the Board of Directors of both the Canadian Maritime Lawyers and the Marine Lawyers Association of the United States. Additional office duties included assisting in preparing monthly client invoices, managing accounts payables and receivables. Coordinated and organized all corporate social events including annual winter and summer celebrations. February 2007- September 2010: Event Coordinator for Mayor Andy Cohen, Menlo Park, California Successfully managed quarterly Menlo Park City sponsored Homeless/PTSD and Youth at Risk public community events. Responsibilities included, supervising Mayor Cohen’s Healthy Communities Speaker Series by scheduling panelists, arranging technology resources, communicating with local authorities and suppliers, and maintaining necessary documentation and distribution lists.

May 2003 - January 2007: Educational Coordinator, Child Protective Services, Mountain View, California Designed in collaboration with team of social workers, a highly successful and effective 7-week parent-child educational program for at- risk families with young children. Anticipated and minimized risks to program by regularly evaluating procedures, and making improvements for achieving educational objectives. Delivered lectures about family abuse and neglect issues to Children’s Advocacy Associations throughout San Mateo County, California Interfaced with United Way Agencies, Housing Authority and Department of Human Resources advocating on clients’ behalf.

August 2000- April 2003 Clinical Rehabilitation Coordinator, Alliances Community Care, Mountain View, California Organized and facilitated therapeutic group activities for moderately mentally ill clients. Developed challenging rehabilitative curriculum to aid in restoring personal independence consistent with client’s level of functioning for learning. Therapeutic curriculum for clients involved addressing areas of stress management, impulse control, and relationship building. Presented monthly educational seminars to the nursing staff concerning the psychological conditions of each resident. Participated in the Rehabilitation Program’s Quality Improvement Committee where duties included coordinating staff meetings, establishing group goals/objectives and implementing outcomes.
