MANUFACTURING COST REDUCTION AND METHOD IMPROVEMENT-Rolls Royce- Team Lead for machining process countinuous improvement by identifying the bottle neck machine and replacing them with the high performance millturn machine which results in reducing the set up time and cycle time, Identify the old machining strategies and improve them, eliminate old legacy tools and replace them with new high performance and cost effective tool all these efforts result in reducing the capex cost of shop floor. The team has won‘’2018 ROLLS ROYCE SILVER AWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE ‘’ for this project.

RATIONALISATION OF FORGINGS OF DISCS AND SHAFTS FOR PART FAMILIES- Rolls Royce- To study condition of supply forgings of part families and finding the possibility of common forgings and to study the tolerances for finding manufacturability of forgings as a part of Cost Reduction Program.

As a CNC Programming specialist my initial responsibilities was to do transfer of technologies from lead factories in Switzerland to India and prove the Parts/Machine/Method and qualify the factory for production.
