1. Sr. Accountant – Sydney R. Stone (Printfinishing.com) Company Limited Canada Sept 2018 to present

The company is in print finishing industry and supply machinery that perform activities that are performed on printed material after printing which includes binding, the fastening of individual sheets together, and decorative processes such as die-stamping, embossing or laminating. The annual turn-over is about CAD 10 Million

The company accounts are prepared in Quick Books hosting environment. I am responsible of full cycle accounting, complete monthly closing entries to finalize accounts, such as general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, recording day-to-day financial transaction, and organize the year-end financial audit. I am also responsible for treasury management activities, processing AP and AR transactions, preparation of payroll, reconciling and paying all statutory remittances.

2. Manager Accounting & Administration – Torcan Waste Management Inc. Canada Dec 13 to Feb 14 and from January 2015 – June 2018

Tor Can Waste Reduction Management Inc. is a Canadian owned, private corporation. The company deals specifically with waste handling services encompassing a multitude of waste stream collections, disposal, recycling and organic services for the industrial, commercial, institutional non-hazardous waste sectors. Annual turnover is about CAD 15 Million.

The company accounts were prepared in Quick Books. I was responsible of full cycle accounting, compile monthly closing entries to finalize accounts, such as general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and organize the year-end financial audit.

Further preparation of cash flow, treasury management and arrange of monthly financials to the BOD. In addition, I was directly responsible for the weekly payroll and all statutory payments such as (CPP, EI, WSIB, EHT & ROE) and filling of HST on monthly basis. Maintain internal controls, managing accounts receivable including collection calls, maintaining accounts payable and processing payments to vendors, I am also responsible for all office administration including maintaining files for each employee files, preparation of termination papers (including ROE) and recruitment of employees (including letter of offers).

3. Sr. Accountant - Goodhope Asia Holdings Limited/PT Agro Harapan Lestari - Indonesia from May 2011 to Nov 2013

GoodHope Asia Holdings Ltd, incorporated in Singapore, holds investments in the Palm Oil Plantation Industry. The Group operates plantations and mills in Indonesia and Malaysia, while the Management Services Companies are located in Indonesia, Malaysia and Sri Lanka.

• I was working as a Snr. Accountant in Indonesia supervised 12 staff members

• Worked in Oracle ERP package and completed the migration to JDE. I was a core member of the JDE implementation team

• I was in charge of accounts of the plantation sector. I was handling full cycle accounting, approved all monthly journal entries, checked all ledger entries, bank statements, inventories, expenditure and other financial records.

• I also introduced HSBCnet payment system and acting as the verifier for all the type of payments

• Implementation of Service Order (SO) system for non-PO payments such as legal fee, audits fee and utility bills

• Co-ordinated all the activities involved in group insurance renewals such as calling quotations, quotation evaluation, and negotiation and award the insurance renewal to pool of insurers.

Naja David Group of companies is the largest timber manufacturing and exporting consortium in Ghana. The group operates its head office in Australia. The German, Dubai and UK companies act as supporting marketing arm of the group in the global timber industry. Annual turnover is about CAD 30 Million. I was the Snr. Financial Accountant of Naja David Group, Ghana and supervise 10 staff members. My job was to perform total treasury function of the company which includes cash flow budgeting and financial planning and also performed following duties;

• I was responsible for full cycle accounts of the company. Including preparation and distribution of financials for the quarter, by-annual and annual.

• Also corresponded with all financial institutions including banks, leasing companies carried out company secretarial functions, facilitated Board meetings,
