Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible for all Hotel related Electrical and other activities(Plumbing,HVAC).

Assist the Chief Engineer in the day to day.

Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service request as assigned.

As per Schedule and complete the PPM & update check list .

Responsible for monitoring, coordinating the maintenance of all Critical equipment’s,

Check /Replace fused bulb in guest room corridors and fire stairways.

Use the LOCKOUT/TAGOUT System before performing any maintenance work.

To attend to Guest complaints without delay / communicate with guest or customers to resolve maintenance.

To ability to install and or repair electrical wirings for renovations.

To take daily utility readings.

To update daily maintenance log.

To assist in handling all emergencies.

To operate audio, video and TV equipment as Requested.

Check the Panel, loops, cables for any danger & rectify immediately .

Use proper warning sign boards.

Use proper safe and insulated electrical tools for any maintenance .

Check & Regular updating of spares in engineering Store.

Monitoring all work being performed by outside vendors/contractors.

Daily walk round to be carried out,taking snag points and close those points within the time line

Basic Knowledge

HVAC-Troubleshoot and perform FCU, AHU,Split unit,Ice mechine,counter fridge fan motor&filter replacement &clean and thermo start settings and monitor chiller& took readings.

PLUMBING- Repair hand shower, flushing system, tabs,plunge toilets and unclog drains .

PAINTING-Basic touchup dry wall.

CARPENTRY- troubleshoot and perform locks, door inches and bilnds,etc

Swimming Pool-pool water quality by testing daily and cleaning pool components, maintain proper pool water chemical balance, Troubleshoot pool lights, Add chemicals to feeders as needed.

Telecommunication-Troubleshoot and perform cable,instrument, sockets replacement .

Lifts-Lifts daily Maintenance and rescue operations.
