ASSISTANT SAFETY OFFCIER
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:
Plan and implement OHS policies and programs
Advise and lead employees on various safety-related topics
Prepare educational seminars and webinars on a regular basis
Review existing policies and procedures
Adhere to all the rules and regulations
Work with HR to set up a new employee on-boarding process for safety
Conduct risk assessment
Enforce preventative measures
Identify process bottlenecks and offer timely solutions
Check if all the employees are acting in adherence with rules and regulations
Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes
Oversee workplace repair, installations and any other work that could harm employees' safety
Professional qualification:
OSHA certified
Elements of management priniciple.
Environmental safety.
Industrial safety.
DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES:
Auditing production, keeping on the lookout for any unsafe behaviour or breaks in regulations
Assessing risk and possible safety hazards of all aspects of operations
Creating analytical reports of safety data
Inspecting production equipment and processes to make sure they are safe
Ordering repairs for unsafe and/or damaged equipment
Focusing on prevention by keeping up with equipment maintenance and employee training
Weekly fire fighting training.
Inspection of the work site for identification of unsafe acts and unsafe conditions
Conducted safety awareness & fire fighting training first aid tool bax meeting to all workers &all staff.
Daily inspections of the work place forhazard identification and rectification of the issue.
PPE awareness and com compliance program implementation.
Heat stress monitoing work force to beat the heat effectively.
SCOPE OF WORK:
Meeting company health and safety goals
Investigating causes of accidents and other unsafe conditions on the job site
Liaising with law enforcement and other investigators who are present at the time of a serious accident
Finding the best way to prevent future accidents
