I am most pleased to submit this cover letter essay for the Medical Sales position with International Healthcare Company. As a consistent over achiever in the medical-dental industry, it would be my distinct pleasure and privileged honor to be a part of a prestigious corporation that is dedicated to continually investing and advancing human health in the OB-GYN space.

I am a self-starter with a diversified background and proven history of sales success who loves cultivating relationships and working with people. I’m currently with Henry Schein Orthodontics where I finished 2019 at the top of my division, achieving 103% to quota (#3 in dollars and percentage over plan on my team). Most recently, I have taken this same success into FY 2020, earning a spot in our nationwide sales contest as the 2nd highest producer of SLX 3D Clear revenue and 4th highest producer of SLX Aligner revenue, achieving two awards for my exemplary performance in Q1 of 2020.

Previously, I worked for Paylocity Corporation as well as Automatic Data Processing Inc., in the human capital management space. In both of these roles I was responsible for offering human capital management solutions to small and medium size businesses including: payroll services, human resource management, benefits administration, talent management, time and attendance, retirement services, and insurance services. As the single point of contact in my territory, I collaborated with multiple counterparts within my company as well as outside referral networks to generate sales while fostering and deepening both new and existing relationships. I underwent world class sales training at both organizations and quickly, I climbed the ranking for my exceptional and consistent sales performance, earning multiple promotions and ultimately leading me to be recruited by Paylocity Corporation to help initiate their very first small business division, taking on the role as an Account Executive and as a “Founding Father”, on the first sales team assembled in the division and Arizona territory.

I graduated from Arizona State University, with a BS from the world renowned, W.P. Carey School of Business, majoring in Economics. I earned the Dean’s List Honors for exemplary academic performance and managed to balance this while gaining valuable business internship experience each summer break and competing as a recognized athlete in the National Physique Committee division of Men’s Physique Bodybuilding. I placed 4th in the state of Arizona for my competitive performance during the 2016 Thunder Dome Championships.

I love winning and competing on a daily basis. My background in sports, academics, and most importantly my sales career, has allowed me to develop a proven ability to thrive in this industry and develop a passion for healthcare. I am dedicated to driving solutions forward every day that enable healthcare providers the ability to treat their patients with the best clinical outcomes and patient care possible. What motivates me is the opportunity to contribute to this industry that positively impacts millions of patients across the world every single day. I’m looking to use my past professional, educational and sports experiences to further develop my skill set in the boundless realm of medical sales.
