Domain: Banking Credit cards, Client: JPMC, Duration: 15-Jun-2015 to till date

Have successfully executed several projects in Agile and Waterfall methodologies playing several different roles such as cards solution architect associate, Senior Mainframe developer lead, UAT Lead and Senior Business data Analyst. Extensively used TSYS product and have mentored the teams from time to time, in all my roles.

As a solution architect/developer lead, involved in global business requirements review meeting, assessed the impact on the application, provided an optimal solution for the requirements and elaborated the solution to the stakeholders and got their buy-in.

Worked on projects involving critical batch functionalities like Apply, Posting, Credit Bureau batches, CDW sync-ups, monitoring and alerting systems and worked on Cards modernization projects to invoke the mainframe components from web using IBM Z/OS connect and APIs.

Involved in the complete architecture & End-to-End development of enhanced packet logging to measure the performance of Business functional packets at each system level per packet and account basis.

Prepared the technical specs, code, unit test, code review, QA deployment and support activities for UATV, performance testing, production deployments and ITSM.

As a UAT lead, conducted all testing activities and led E2E testing of several critical and high visibility products such as Chase Freedom 5% rewards, Refer-a-friend rewards, Ultimate rewards, Sapphire preferred and Reserve, Chase microsites and several partner products and offers. There was no defect leakage/post-production defected on our products that we tested.

As a Business data analyst, analyzed BCBS reporting requirements for a regulatory project, determined the use cases, extracted test data from legacy reports and fed into new IBM Cognos/Teradata system to perform business data and report reconciliation, reviewed the UAT results, provided UAT results sign-off for production adoption.

Managed the QA testing of several projects for QBE clients such as DMI, SETERUS, MIDLAND and many change-requests for CCS (Collateral Command System) mainframes applications which safeguards lender’s interest by placing LPI. As a QA lead, I was responsible for End-to-End QA activities, right from requirements review till Production deployment and checkout. Mentored the team in all the QA testing activities inclusive of database testing for DB/2 using SQL.

Managed and coordinated the complete development of the migration project GMUZ MGO to SAP Interface that controls and monitors the flow of materials from the supplier until it is receipted into the GM Assembly plants. It involved creation of New PL/I-DB/2 programs, PL/I-IMS transaction programs DB/2 tables, JCLs as well as tweaking the existing components to support SAP interface.

Successfully managed the complete development of the project “Inter-Continental Network - ASN Retention” that wants to track and enhance LSC’s performance by monitoring planned vs actual arrival of shipments. IMS TM feeds the real-time data and IMS exit routines are designed to update the required databases. New PL/I -DB/2 programs, JCLs and DB/2 tables were created for this. Supported UAT, Production deployment and provided warranty of this project.

Domain: Telecom (Invoicing), Client: Telstra, Duration: 01/04/ 2012 – 18/10/2012.

Worked in the huge and prestigious revamp of Telstra’s Business Invoicing application interfacing several subsystems, to optimize its business process. This involved creation of brand new as well as updating COBOL-DB/2-VSAM programs, JCLs and Control-M scheduling changes, rigorous testing of End-to-End business scenarios, Business data verification and defect resolution.

Worked as developer lead in the migration of UNIX workstation area of Customer Order Planning (COP) System, to a new customized advanced tool called Flexis to optimally perform the Order slotting functionality of GM. Created many new DB/2 tables, COBOL/DB-2 programs, Batch JCLs and Control-M changes in the COP Mainframe System to make it compatible with Flexis.
