Project Description

This project is about implement an automated claim adjudicating system for policy holders, general users and Healthcare professionals. The project was divided into 3 Release. I was part of the first release as a Business Analyst, which involved implementing of Claim intake process.

The Main Actors of the intake process were-Members, Healthcare providers and Bank

Role and Responsibilities:

Gathered (High Level Business Requirements HLBERS) from client and stakeholders through interview process.

Created and developed Business Requirement Document (BRD) and Functional Requirement Document (FRD).

Analysis and managed cross-functional existing/planned business process impact.

Developed feasibility and project risk analysis to ensure requirement can be met.

Analyzed and segregated business requirements into high level and low-level Use cases, using Microsoft visio

Wrote Use Cases descriptions including pre-conditions, assumption, normal flows, alternative flows, post conditions, notes and issues

AAA insurance is involved in various forms of insurance, which range from General insurance to Life insurance.

The project sought to improve the online claims system for auto insurance. Functionalities here were reporting of claims online, uploading photographs and using templates to describe the accident. Also included in the functionalities were checking of claims status as well as status of repair, in photographs.

Responsibilities:

Conducted analysis studies that serve as input to the strategic planning, goal setting and approach to achieving the goals.

Involved in gap analysis workshops to facilitate the proper requirements strategy and defined existing business process (BPM-Business Process Modelling) and identified the (Gap Analysis) between the existing & improved business process.
