Boiler detail: Pulverized coal fired, subcritical, controlled-circulation, P-type, single furnace, single-reheat, tangential firing, balance draft, dry bottom boiler. Boiler output at BMCR: SH steam flow / Pr. / temp - 2060 TPH / 17.5 Mpa. / 541ºC, RH steam flow / Pr. / temp 1725 TPH / 3.8 Mpa. / 541ºC. Manufacturer Harbin Boiler Group Company Ltd.

JOB PROFILE:

Execution of Maintenance Activities and Spare Parts Planning

Working as a Maintenance Engineer in Boiler & its Auxiliaries with a target of Zero break down, to minimize equipment down time. Ensuring 100% completion of preventive maintenance as per the schedule and condition monitoring of all the equipment s to increase the plant availability.

Roles and Responsibilities

1.Preparation of daily job schedule & Involve for various maintenance activities of coal mill, coal feeder area which involves:

Coal mill journal roller servicing

Roller Spring tension setting

Bull ring segment replacement

Lube oil station maintenance

Coal feeder maintenance

Hot air damper and hot air gate maintenance

Cold air & Hot air damper and cold air & Hot air gate Inspection & maintenance and necessary rectification

Inspection and maintenance of Coal Mills and feeders, coal piping s

2.Maintaining the records of daily defects and coordinates the same with operation and mechanical maintenance department to attend the same.

3.Creation of material code for all the equipment s by detail study of the drawing.

4.Preparing all the monthly reports, shut down reports, MIS reports.

5.Preparation of daily job schedule & involve for various maintenance activities of Tri sector Air pre heater During Annual Over hauling which involves:

Seal gap checking

Replacement of seals where ever found damaged.(Radial seal, Bypass & Axial seal)

Rotor alignment checking

Seal Setting of Radial .Axial & Bypass Seals.

Inspection of Guide & support Bearings.

6. Preparation of daily job schedule & involve for various maintenance activities of Boiler Drum, Reheater & Superheater Safety Valves, All type of Control Valves, Gate Valves, Globe Valves, Ball Valves during Annual Over hauling which involves:

Valve s seat condition checking.

Seat lapping & cutting as per requirement.

Spindle run out checking.

Trevi test of safety valve.

Guide & Nozzle ring setting as per blow down & pop up of safety valve.

Cage & trim assembly checking & replaced/repaired as per requirement.

7. Preparation of the maintenance planning for the different activities involved in the major overhauling of Boiler and ensuring the completion of the same in the prescribed timeline. Activities include:

Preparation for cleaning and inspection of the pressure parts during Annual Shutdown

Cleaning of pressure parts by Hydro jet system

Thickness survey of the tubes in various regions of boiler

Drum internal inspection

Overhauling of the valves

Hydro test of pressure parts.

Boiler various tube leakage attended.

Inspection of Coal nozzles and Oil nozzles

Overhauling of PA,FD & ID fans & Centrifugal compressor.

8. Replacement of two coal nozzles of burner block had been done in only two days because of proper job, manpower and resource planning.

9. Attending of boiler tube failure within 2 days by erection of sky climber.

10. Replacement of boiler circulation pump gasket (between pump and motor) completed within 2 days.

10. Design calculation of an external cooler for decrease the PA fan lube oil temperature of 6.5 drg C

11. Preventive, Predictive & overhauling maintenance of various pump like centrifugal pump, gear pump, screw pump, vertical screw & centrifugal pump, reciprocating pump.

11. Achieving 95% preventive maintenance work every month.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

Worked with Levcon Instrument Private Limited (Manufacture of Power Plant Equipment), at Kolkata (ISO 9001:2008) as a PRODUCTION ENGINEER from, 1st July 2009 to 28th February 2011.
