Third Shift Manufacturing Supervisor: I currently supervise five leads and thirty-five employees in all aspects of pigment manufacturing, safety, quality, training, production planning, housekeeping, and on time delivery. I am responsible for writing and updating work instructions, batch sheets, incident reports, interviewing production candidates, and employee reviews. I conduct weekly safety meetings, weekly focus meetings, and monthly lead meetings. I am also involved in various projects to help improve products and processes. I am the leader of the shift emergency response team and a member of the safety steering committee. Provide open communication to customer service, quality, scheduling, purchasing, shipping, and the plant manager on daily operations and the needs/statuses of production. I am also responsible for tracking and graphing data in various production areas to ensure that capacity is being met and improved upon weekly.

Responsible for reviewing current processes and implementing process changes to ensure maximum efficiency from production. Responsible for completing projects assigned by the department manager. Responsible for employee reviews, disciplinary process, interviews, and employee releases. Assembly Supervisor: Coordinate all activities in the assembly 2 dept. including safety, quality, production, production planning, housekeeping, and training for 25 employees. Responsible for conducting inventory, printing work orders, and printing shipping labels. Chair department meetings. Develop standard operating procedures. Responsible for planning all jobs in assembly 2 to ensure on time delivery to the customer.
Feb. 2011-Feb. 2013: Ashta Chemicals.
Chemical Operator: Operate sub-plant that produces chloropicrin. Treat and run lab tests on EPA processing water. Load chlorine, chloropicrin, and C-17 railcars. Responsible for producing liquid potassium carbonate. I have the working knowledge of valves, pumps, mixing tees, reaction coolers, and separation vessels. Responsible for taking temperature and equipment readings.
Inspector/Shipper. Inspect and ship products. Responsible for safely loading liquid chemicals into tank trucks and tank cars. Qualified shuttle driver and ground guide for the rail yard. Responsibilities included tank truck and railcar safety inspections, as well as preventative maintenance in the pump houses.
