Follow up the appointed products/projects both within own team, but also towards other affected subject areas and – sites to meet the customer requirements and delivery commitments.
Configure needed subsea instruments for project globally based on international standards, drawings, schematics and various engineering documents.
Responsible for following up technically with suppliers and review supplier documentations
Work closely with other engineers and technical person from different disciplines such as Material, NDT, Flow assurance, SW, and designers.
Prepare inquiry documentations, project specific documentation, such as BOMs and documents, interface documentation, and maintenance documentation (in accordance with E-plan).
Perform technical review and update as required during project execution.
Participate in meetings and review boards, as required.
Identify and give input to VORs, engineering status reports, areas of concern etc. on a regular basis.
Check and review engineering documents.
Stop engineering-work in a project if needed information from the project administration is missing, or if information from the project administration is not in accordance with valid instructions.
Stop production of a product produced in the SCM workshop(s), which do not follow specifications or correct process.
