• A multi-national textile chemical sales company based in Filago, Italy.

• Built customer relationships through regular site visits to demonstrate product efficacy and support integration into the customers manufacturing environment.

• Provided a customer service capability, which involves the use of our Customer Relationship Management System Navision

(Dynamics NAV). This requires the creation of supplier purchase orders, customer sales orders, and warehouse pick lists in support of the core business activities.

• Performed routine textile laboratory testing for the salesforce. This included the application, analysis, and quality control of textile chemicals to make sure they deliver the necessary qualities to meet customer requirements.

• Produced trials, samples, and results of new products to support the sales team in identifying additional opportunities and securing new business.

Lean Manufacturing Coordinator June 2013 -- September 2014 Vescom America

• A multi-national wall covering manufacturer selling to the hospitality industry based in the Netherlands.

• Oversaw Ink formulation development for the production of high-end wallcoverings. It was imperative that any formulation was reproducible, so that product quality was assured across multiple production runs. This was achieved through daily data collection from the manufacturing plant.

• Through color matching techniques, was able to deliver improved ink production, which resulted in manufacturing plant efficiency by increasing production, decrease time turn over, and enabled re-use of resources.

• As part of the planning team, scheduled the plant production runs to ensure customer orders were delivered. With the plant management team, was also a member of a cross functional teams that produced budget forecasts which were presented, discussed and agreed upon with senior management.

• Oversaw plant inventories to ensure optimum levels of materials. This assured availability to ensure production outages were avoided, supported stock level maintenance aligned to supply lead times, and avoided overstocking and the associated financial tie-up.
