I joined the school’s cricket team in 2003 and later that year I joined club cricket. I made the KZN U18 side in 2005 and played in the South African games held in Durban. I was awarded three trophies by Umlazi Cricket Club for outstanding performances during seasons 2005/06 and 2006/07. In October 2010 I joined the KwaZulu-Natal Cricket Scorers’ Association and I have been a regular provincial and international cricket scorer for the KZN Cricket Union and Cricket South Africa ever since. I have seen progress into an accredited national trainer by cricket South Africa.
