During my 13-week rotation on 4-North, I was able to care for acute patients on the ward. In addition, I practiced medication administration, charting, and worked with equipment such as bladder scanners, IVs, ostomy bags, and catheters.

During my short maternity and child practicum, I spent 77.5 hours caring for postop mothers, infants, and children.

My 6-week practicum on the stroke rehabilitation ward was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, during my time in the unit I had the chance to care for stroke survivors and gain experience with NG tubes.
