Manage Projects at 26 Federal Plaza and Smithsonian Museum

Responsibilities:

Managing renovation and replacement of Existing Induction units, AC units piping and ductwork on various floors at 26 Federal Plaza.All existing Pneumatic controls on induction units were replacement with DDC controls. This project being a government and prevailing wage job needs constant coordination between GC owners and sub-contractors including security clearance etc.

Project requirements were from Submittals, Project Progress meetings, Coordination meetings, approval of submittals, shop drawings, close out documents for each floor as completed including Start up, warranty etc.

Involved thoroughly with GC and owner to ensure all units/ductwork/piping etc. adhered to plans and specifications and customer satisfaction. Being and existing building with very less access to several locations constant RFI s were generated and discussed with engineer for viable solutions.

Smithsonian Museum involved Modification replacement of existing modular chiller/Cooling tower and replacement of Pneumatic controls with DDC.

Technical evaluation of the entire HVAC system as designed to ascertain the system design correctness, system requirements, USGBC LEED design, with a component-wise breakdown
