I am applying for the position of Security Guard. I feel as you look at my resume you will see that I am uniquely
qualified for this position with my background in corrections. As you will see prison security and Courthouse security
have similar goals and similar objectives. In my experience I have been the Officer in Charge of 11 subordinates. I have
instructed other correctional officers. Having a security minded background I understand the importance of security
measures. Also in building relationships with outside agencies. I very much believe in keeping lines of communication
open. I would be able to do the job that is required for this position. As I have read the job description the objectives are
inline with what I have done as a Correctional Officer. I lead by example, and I'm not closed minded as to not be able to
take criticism. I would treat any subordinates with respect. I believe in team building. I have in the past been the lead
employee. And have excelled at it. I hope to be considered for this position and be able to expand on what else I have to
offer.
