Founded this business unit for UPS in Latin America in 1999. Ground up evaluation and development of UPS’ Service Parts Logistics tech sector post sale support market, gathered competitive information, and established UPS Service Parts Logistics’ ‘go-to-market’ strategy for the Latin America Region. A key component of the strategy I developed was the recommendation for UPS to make a targeted acquisition (Comlasa) for expedited market entry and control. I was subsequently put in charge of the acquisition and integration team, post-acquisition by UPS in July 2000.
