Sony Music Entertainment, New York, NY 2018 - Present CDO

• Sol is responsible for establishing the vision, objectives, and goals for all of Sony Music’s digital, data and analytics strategy globally and re-defining what “great” looks like. Serving as the champion and change agent for innovation, Sol is working closely with the Label Presidents, Regional CEO’s, and leadership team in Tokyo to lead and drive the technology transformation taking place at Sony Music.

• With end-to-end responsibility for all things “Digital & Data”, Sol’s group currently oversees: Capabilities for a consumer-centric initiative called ‘Audience Development’, Digital & Data Apps

(Mobile and Web-Based Products), Data Science Roadmap, AI & ML Enterprise Applications, Product Design, Multi-Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, GCP, DataBricks, Snowflake, etc), Enterprise Information Management, Data Governance & Compliance, CRM, and Digital Marketing capabilities

• Responsible for developing and driving the digital, data and analytics strategy for RCCL in an effort to drive innovation and establish a competitive advantage in the industry using the latest techniques in Product Design, Graphic Design, Data Visualization, Cloud-Based Infrastructure, Analytics, AI, Data Science, RPA, MDM, Enterprise Data Architecture and Data Modeling

• Managed a P&L >$80+ million and put a team of 250+ in place to meet the demands of the $1B digital transformation program

• Sol and her team successfully filed 4 patents while at RCCL, and trademarked a data lake called CerebroTM, a custom state-of-the-art, cloud-based data lake that consolidates all customer data across 23 source systems into a single repository, enabling a comprehensive view of RCCL’s consumer. The platform has been trademarked (patent pending) and provides the organization with data exploration, data analysis, data reporting, dash-boarding and data modeling capabilities with a single touchpoint. o CerebroTM has been accredited by Gartner as “best-in-class” architecture and is currently being used across all corporate functions, brands, and suppliers.

• Sol’s team also built Royal’s Recommendation EngineTM used by the websites and digital apps using Neo4J GraphDB, their ChatBot, Conversational AI messaging system for passengers, and an integrated application that provides a 360 View of a Customer that currently supports various departments like Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, On-Boarding, and Revenue Management.

• Sol’s team also productionalized 17 data science models that now drive the core operations for Sales, Marketing, Call Center, Onboard Revenue, Hotel Operations and Finance.
