Simulating crash test by creating high quality mesh with most restrictive Scope criteria, clearing penetrations with inter components & adjacent components, making all the connections & joints and preparing the final deck file after doing Checkrun in LS-Dyna.

• Studying the basic CAD geometry which includes function of that component, understanding its adjacent components, checking CAD level penetration & making query, if any.

• Dividing CAD among members explaining quality & modeling method

• Meshing is done as per client requirement .

• The modeled components are then assembled together. Geometry Description check is once again done and then checked for penetration using ANSA.

• Assigning correct PID’s, material & properties.

• Making connections- beam, beam by PID(spot), NRB(bolt),discrete

(springs).

• Error check is conducted.
