Employment Experience

Well Production Services Field Engineer 2019 – 2020 Schlumberger – Udhailiyah, Saudi Arabia

Performed stimulation treatments for Saudi Aramco on conventional sandstone and carbonate formations in Saudi Arabia. Managed all aspects of operations on location: Data acquisition, equipment deployment, material coordination, lab testing, QA/QC and troubleshooting of technical issues. Performed data analysis on injection tests and datafracs to determine reservoir characteristics prior to pumping main treatment. Engineered redesigned treatment plans with technical team based on field data analyses, fracture modeling and proppant placement simulations.

• Executed complex job designs including prop fracs, acid fracs, matrix acidizing, and foam fracs in extremely high pressure and temperature reservoirs.

• Determined necessary design changes while pumping when unexpected situations arise such as uncharacteristic formation responses or equipment failures.

• Collaborated with many other product lines on location to mitigate Non-Productive Time (NPT) and optimize efficiency during well site operations.

• Generated detailed reports for any NPT, Service Quality, or Health Safety and Environment (HSE) events. Well Production Services Field Engineer 2018 – 2019 Schlumberger - Shreveport, LA, USA

Performed multi-stage hydraulic fracturing treatments on horizontal unconventional wells for various clients in Louisiana and Texas. Involved in every part of business: acquired essential data, planned, organized, ran, and reported operations in the field. Reviewed contract agreements and billed each client accordingly. Maximized efficiency of operations and site mobilizations through logistics and bulk distribution planning.

• Executed multiple different types of job designs such as slickwater, linear gel, crosslink gel, hybrid designs, acid spearheads, diverting agents, ball and sleeve, and plug and perf completions.

• Traveled to crews to provide field-level technical support and data acquisition for the implementation of new technologies and chemical trials.

• Mentored new engineers through their training process and monitored their progress until they break out as stand alone field engineers.

• Promoted 6 months after hire date. Achieved highest score in district on Field Engineer Technical Breakout Interview.

• Ranked 1st in class of 30 when completed Fracturing Technical Training focused on reservoir theory, petrophysics, geomechanics, well testing, nodal analysis, wireline operations and logging, completions, economics and finance, sales techniques, and contract bidding processes.

• Ranked 2nd out of 20 when completed Fracturing Execution Training focused on reservoir engineering, formation damage, fracturing fluids, rock mechanics, fracture design and calculations, and fracturing execution.

• Ranked 2nd out of 24 when completed Basic Operation Training focused on fundamentals of cementing, coil tubing and fracturing operations. Hands on training dedicated to operation and maintenance of surface equipment. Project Completions Co-Op Student 2016

Nalcor Energy - St. John’s, NL

The Completions team was responsible for overseeing contractors’ commissioning processes and procedures involved in construction and energization of all physical assets (Gates, cranes, generators, and control systems) for the Lower Churchill Hydroelectric Facility.

• Established the construction sequence and determined essential assets/auxiliary systems as critical scope of work required to bring the 1st of 4 turbine generator units online. Field Engineering Co-Op Student 2014 – 2015

SRS Industrial Services - Fort McMurray, AB

SRS Industrial was responsible for the installation and commissioning of piping, steel and rotating equipment in the new extraction buildings at the CNRL Horizon Oil Sands expansion project. Completed 2 co-op placements with SRS Industrial.

• Calculated pressures and pneumatic stored energy to ensure conformance of design specifications, safety codes, and standards for piping pressure tests.

• Developed cost estimates and reviewed technical drawings for future multimillion-dollar projects. Process Engineer Co-Op Student 2014

Teck Resources LTD. - Fernie, BC
