JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: HSE SUPERVISOR

Monitor and Report on the Health, Safety and Environmental aspects of the project.

Actively promote safety awareness and constantly review and update the site procedures.

Ensure that each employee has received initial HSE orientation before starting the work on the project site.

Conduct tool box talks briefings on work related hazards and safe working Procedures.

Maintain records and produce reports and statistics of all safety related incidents.

Investigate accidents/incidents including near misses and determine probable causes and develop appropriate safety measures to prevent reoccurrence of similar incidents.

Perform regular safety inspections and audits in association with the senior site staff.

Be fully conversant with all Local health and safety at work regulations, code of practices and legal requirements affecting safety, health and welfare and liaise with government officials as required.

Ensure that all appropriate documentation is in place for mobile and static cranes.

Ensure that all Electrical installations are in accordance with recognized safety standards and all of them are tested on completion of alteration works.

Ensure that adequate equipment is available on site for firefighting purpose and all of

them are maintained and inspected as required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: HSE OFFICER

Understand the requirements of client in order to carry out all safety activities.

Inspect the worksite daily to report and correct unsafe methods and conditions. Conduct daily and weekly safety toolbox meetings. Giving safety orientation to employees as per company policy requirement,

Prepare daily, weekly and monthly safety reports and forward to the concerned loss prevention department for review and necessary action.

Keep the record of every weekly safety meeting on site complete with subject discussed and list of attendees. Address the daily observations/infractions in the meetings to alert the participants about poetically dangerous situations.

Coordinate for emergency procedures, drills etc.

Check that the equipment and tools are maintained in good operating condition.

Assist in scaffolding inspection, work permit requirement, housekeeping etc.

Attend associated meetings with concerned department. Field safety representation.

Project supervision, Inspection of personal safety gear at Site. Inspection of Fire extinguisher and fire blankets, identify unsafe conditions and initiate corrective action directly to Supervisors/Foreman to eliminate hazards.

Conduct weekly safety walkthrough at the Site and note down the findings to be done.

Monitor all construction / test & commissioning activities for safety measures.

To create awareness among workers to adopt think safety, work safety and also train the use of personal protective equipment to every person at the job Site.

Perform safety hazard inspection of construction works lay down and living areas to ensure their complaints with Project Safety and Fire Manuals.

Conduct safety activities and training to concerned employees such as First Aid, Safety clothing, Health Hazards and preventions.

Properly planning for workers and its safe performance using necessary Guards, Barriers, Barricades and Warning Tapes, Signs etc.

Check and monitor all necessary equipment and material using at Site.

Report incidents of injury / emergency & organize training requirements for all workers.

Responsible for maintaining and implementing Company’s safety manual and Client’s safety program and safety action plan.

Keep permanent record of Injuries, Fires, Motor vehicle accidents (MVAS), property damage and Crane/Heavy equipment accidents, which have occurred at the Site.

Conduct the Tool Box Talk, to remind about safety rules and regulation at job Site.

Keep a record of weekly safety meetings and prepare minutes of meeting.

Monitoring the house keeping for particular area and implement good housekeeping.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: HSE OFFICER

Check and inspect power, electrical, mechanical tools etc. used by the workers at the job site to secure in good conditions to avoid any untoward accident happen while performing or commencing their job.

Monitoring the workers at job site to ensure that they maintain their respective area tidy and clean (housekeeping) for at least 10 to 15 minutes before knock-off time in every working day.

Monitoring the cranes as per the company procedures to avoid accidents during operation and secure that the surroundings are well cordoned and barricaded thereof.

Monitor the scaffolding installed at job site to secure that the workers comply and follow the standard safety procedures.
