Position: Process Controller (trainee)

Responsibilities

Monitor the plant on the panel and adjust accordingly if any deviation occurs.

Shut-down and start-up the plants.

Apply standard operating procedures.

Undertaking equipment failure modes and defect identification and reporting.

Report all risk behaviours and unsafe condition.

Sampling on effluent plant as per schedules.

Maintain required housekeeping standards.

Analyses of the pH and chemical oxygen demand in the laboratory.

Monitoring the effluent plant and dozing of the acids before discharging it.

Carry out plant inspections and take logs.

Loading and offloading of the oil trucks

Transferring the products to and from the designated tanks and ensuring the correct tanks are used.

Take part during the stock taking.
