An ear training app for musicians

• Co-opted techniques used by professional musicians to develop a more effective ear training application

• Processed and played audio samples harmonically with Audio Kit

• Used Audio Kit and on-board microphone to detect pitch

• Designed simple single screen application with intuitive user interactions

• Led a small team to deploy social networking features like friend requests and notifications

• Created networking layer for social networking features with Alamofire, GraphQL and Core Data

• Utilized MVVM and Unit Testing to implement notification feature with 100% test coverage

• Refactored the friending feature with RxSwift to reduce code volume and simplify processing asynchronous events

• Integrated Fastlane to automate App Store deployment in Ruby

• Used both Reachability and NWPathMonitor to alert user of network connection interruptions and prevent Recur from executing requests

• Managed concurrent tasks using Grand Central Dispatch to increasing overall performance

• Attained local persistence with Core Data, Keychain and User Defaults eliminating the need for re- authentication and costly network requests
