Negotiating trade union demands and reviewing the charter of demands to be signed with the trade union Drafting employment contracts, transfer and promotion contracts alongwith revised terms and conditions (including Code of Conduct) applicable to the entire labor force. Vetting and drafting Sale and Purchase Agreements for private aircrafts between corporations, Airport Ground Handling Agreements, Airport Terminal Contracts, Security Agreements, Catering Service Agreements and Leave and License Agreements for ground offices.

Liasoning with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) in order to obtain statutory permissions Advising on maternity and other social benefits under the law prevailing at the relevant time.

Drafting responses to Show Cause Notices issued to the airline by customs authorities at various airports in India and attending personal hearings representing the airline’s interests. Drafting pleadings before Consumer Fora and Appellate Tribunals in various states of India in relation to loss of baggage, delay of flights, medical emergencies on board flights, meal change disputes and subsequent claims.

Advising on re-drafting ticketing terms and conditions (particularly inclusion of an arbitration clause in order to consolidate all aviation related disputes under an applicable law favorable to the airlines’ interests and further, for more flexible and speedier dispute resolution) and liability clauses of the airline.
