My enclosed resume reflects at least 20 years of customer service and office experience. I was previously employed with Banner Medical Group as a Patient Financial Specialist working for doctors who specialized in neurosciences. I assisted with scheduling office visits, answering phones, providing registration of patient and insurance information.
Prior to moving to Arizona, I was employed with Digestive Disease Endoscopy Center, in an outpatient gastrointestinal medical office, which included five gastroenterologists and one surgeon who did 30-35 cases a day. My willingness to work hard and build my skill base would make me a good candidate for the job. I worked my way and held several positions starting as a front office receptionist then transitioned to a scheduler. During this time, I became a Certified Nursing Assistant slowly transitioned into clinical, trained and became an endoscopy technician. During my employment, I eventually transitioned back to scheduling when processes changed and became the primary contact for scheduling. I called and scheduled/reschedule diagnostic patients.
I worked for Banner Health since June 2016 - May 2020, starting out as a Case Management Assistant. I assisted nurse case managers and social workers with patients to achieve smooth and timely transition from an acute care facility to alternative levels of care. In September 2017, I transferred to Banner Imaging Service Center (Central Scheduling). I scheduled patients for Outpatient Radiology/Imaging. In August 2019 I transferred to working in a specialist doctor office.

I assisted with chart preparation, registration, check-in process but not limited to data entry activities, providing patients with appropriate information and intake forms. Per the five gastroenterologists and one surgeon orders, I called patients to schedule their diagnostic procedure and accurately scheduled requested procedures, using specific policies and guidelines, I arranged for scheduling of diagnostics related to the scheduled procedure. I performed additional duties as directed (within the scope of training) e.g., gave information regarding procedure, pre-procedure instructions to patients and asked medical questions that would relate to procedure.
