International experience:
Bahrain:
●From October 2019 till now: English teacher in Rawan Pre-School
●From June 2018 to August 2019:
Grade 3 English Homeroom teacher, Grade 6 Social English teacher and grade 5 French teacher in Palms school. I prepared 25 lesson plans every week, and I taught ten different subjects (Math, English, Science, History, Geography, ICT, Art for grade 3) and (History, Geography for grade 6) and also French for grade 5.
●From August 2016 till June 2018:
-English teacher and Head of English Curriculum and in charge of Mathletics programme in KG Kids Preschool. I was teaching KG 1 and KG 2 students and I was using Jolly Phonics British programme and Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.
●From August 2015 to June 2016:
- French teacher for grades 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 students (Elementary and Middle school students) in Hawar International School.
-I also taught ESU (special need) students.
-I was teaching three different books: “La recre 2” for grade 4 and 5 students, and “France Trotteur 1” for grade 6 and 7, and finally “France Trotteur 2” for grade 8 students.
●(from 2011 to 2015)
-I was working for four years in Modern Knowledge Schools as a French teacher and I was the Head of French department for one year.
-In the first six months of joining the school I taught grade 7 students in the middle school and I was a floating teacher. The program I was teaching was “ pourquoi pas 2”.Then, the Human Resources management gave me bigger responsibility and sent me to the High School to teach grades 10, 11, 12 for American diploma students and IB diploma students as well, that means I was teaching 7 different programs with 3 different student’s levels at the same time (IB grade 11 for French B SL and IB grade 11 Abinitio SL, and IB grade 12 for French B HL and IB grade 12 for French B SL and IB grade 12 Abinitio SL, also French 1 for American diploma students, and finally French 2 for American Diploma students all this at the same school year ), and I am right now using three different books: Discovering French 1, Discovering French 2 and IB French B for international baccalaureate program.
-The materials I use are: projector, speakers, lap top, DVD’s, CD’s and www.my.hrw.com website for educators.
-In addition to that I was for a year the Head of French department and my job description was:
# Meeting with all French department teachers for the middle and high school and their total number was 5 including myself, and this in order to discuss about our yearly plans, different activities, principal’s recommendations and decisions …etc. And I was organizing at least 3 meetings in a month.
# Preparing and sending minutes to the principals in both MS and HS and also to the vice principle for the HS and to the IB coordinator after each French Department meeting.
# Working with all teachers to gather MSA evidence that concerns Modern Knowledge schools for the year of 2014- 2015
-I am also a member of the Modern Knowledge schools Philosophy and Mission with Doctor Susan Gerber.
L’Alliance Française of Bahrein:
I was a part time French teacher in the Alliance Française and I am a member of the Alliance Française as well, I participate in all activities organized by the Alliance Française and I take my students in there whenever the school allows to participate into the Alliance Francaise activities and be in touch with Francophone learners and speakers and educators. I was teaching there four different levels: level 1, level 2, level 9 for adults and level 16 for teenagers and for that I used three different books: Latitudes 1, Latitude 2, Vite et bien 2 and I have to mention that “Latitudes 1 and Latitude 2” are two programs that are taught in the second year of university in Bahrain University. Also,
I was using the smart board for teaching in the Alliance Francaise.
●Dubai: 2007-2009
●I was trained to become a sales person in “Hussein Ahmadi General Trading Company” for three months and then I worked as a secretary and broker in a Real Estate Company “Al Atif Properties” and that was for six months and then I moved to Bahrain (2008-2009)
●I worked part time as a French Teacher in a language institute afternoon time while morning time I was working as an Assistant Manager for a Real Estate company “GiGa group” (End 2007-2008)
●Algeria
-SIMO Telecome: it is a private Advertisement company, and I was an Assistant for marketing department. (Beginning 2007)
-Orascom telecome Algerie: I was a call center advisor for six months (end 2006)
-Capital Humain: It was a Human Resources company located in Algeria I worked there as an assistant for the general manager and translator (English –French –Arabic) and I was also interviewing candidate in English. (2005- mid 2006)
-Al Maarifa School: a private language institute in Algiers I was an English teacher for young learners and adults, and I taught there for 1year and a half while being in my third year of university (2003- mid 2005)
