Quality Assurance Specialist I:
Conduct site visits to schools to evaluate program compliance with state and federal guidelines, and
maintain appropriate files.
Review for quality, appearance, policies and make sure all procedures are followed in the cafeteria.
Review meal program accountability for compliance of National School Lunch Program, and the National School Breakfast Program.
Review and audit the After School Care Program and the Summer Food Service Program.
Develop and conduct professional training programs, designed to improve job-related skills and enhance professional growth.
Provide technical assistance for professional staff, as well as support and school cafeteria staff.
Work with other and administrative staff to coordinate, and assist in presenting training and development programs related to the Career Management System.
Develop training aids including handbooks, and demonstration of models multimedia visual aids.
