Hadoop to snowflake Migration

Abinitio Developer,Capgemini(Discover)

Responsibilities:

• We tested the abinitio graphs which actually perfume the loading of hadoop tables.

• Tested Abinitio graphs which actually load the hadoop table data into a file.

• Worked on Backfilling part which loads huge amount of data from Hadoop to AWS S3

• Prepared STT documents(Source to Target) and created Wiki pages

• Worked on SPARK commands to get the backfilled data load to AWS S3 as avro format.

• Used UDL Utility commands to load the data from S3 to snowflake.

• Check in the objects updated and provide it to Data Ops for validation.

AIX to LINUX Migration

Responsibilities:

• We used our own automation tool (rMig) to eliminate manual intervention and reduce testing time.

• Identification of decommissioned jobs

• Identify sandbox, script and server name

• Checkout the sandbox

• Run the rMig tool for code changes

• Identify AI code changes

• Lock the objects and get component details

• Test the graphs using prod files

• Check in the objects updated and provide it to Data Ops for validation.
