Evaluations are often performed using ANSYS models, hand calculations and, when necessary, response spectrum analysis. Engineer responsible for the design of new electrical vaults attached to the RHR Complex and the Auxiliary Building as well as the design of the Reactor Building Airlock pad (slab on grade). Participated in the preparation of a design criteria for safety related new electrical duct banks, electrical manholes and vaults. Provided estimates, created project plans for new proposals and successfully managed projects and delivered products on time.

Exelon, Peach Bottom Station, 2016. Engineer responsible for the evaluation of the Unit 3 Reactor Building Refueling floor at Elevation 234’-0” due to the placement of 1 TN-68 loaded cask and 1 TN-68 empty cask at the same time.

Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), Johnsonville Cogeneration Project, 2016. Engineer responsible for the design of a steel utility rack framing system (pipe rack) for the Auxiliary Boilers, a two-level steel structure with an approximate footprint of 70ft x 100ft, supporting seven silencers, in addition to several foundations.

Exelon, Fort Calhoun Station, 2015. Participated in a 3rd party review of the design of a new laydown support structure for the Reactor Vessel Head assembly in the northwest quadrant of the station Containment Internal Structure (CIS) on operating Floor EL. 1045’. Engineer responsible for the evaluation of the CIS structure for increased floor live load limits to accommodate outage demands.
