Role & Responsibilities in INSPECTION ACTIVITIES:-

To inspect the materials identification as per applicable code, specification & purchase order copy and correcting it with MTC.

Visual & Dimensional Checking.

Verification of Marking & Stamping.

Inspection of Valves –

(a)Visual Inspection.

(b)Dimensional Inspection of Valves.

(c)Review Document like that Internal Test Report, RT Film, Raw material test certificate, Manufacturer's test certificate, etc.

(d)Test Witness - Shell and Back Seat Hydro test, Seat Hydro test, Seat Pneumatic test, Strip test and PMI for SS.

Stage wise & final inspection of equipments, structures manufactured, Verification of Marking & Stamping at Vendor.

Review QC procedures, ITP and Quality Plan and assist with establishing acceptable working practices for construction activities.

Monitor and ensure the quality of products, consumables and materials comply with requirements of established Standards & Specifications.

Perform routine surveillance, inspection, monitoring & assurance at site activities (Fabrication and Welding, NDT, Coating and Painting) in accordance with the Projects and Contractors, specifications, ITP and Quality Plans.

Ensure all the personnel employed and operating in welding and NDE activities is duly skilled and qualified in accordance with the applicable specifications, codes and regulations.

Interpreting and evaluating of NDT Results, Heat treatment, witnessing Hydro test, Pneumatic test.

Conversant with Indian Standards and International Codes & Standards like ASME, ASTM, AWS, API, and PMC Specifications.

Ensure all pre-construction activities and qualification trials are witnessed and approved as necessary.

Ensure the Inspection & Test Plan of each activity is fulfilled.

Repair follow-up, Conforming line check as per P&ID, NDT clearance, Punch List preparation, follow up of final completion.
