Site Inspection:

Prepare and issue inspection reports/violation notices of unsafe act and unsafe conditions on daily basis to responsible Area in charge/supervisors/foreman’s/and follow-up to ensure that appropriate corrective action are properly carried out at reasonable time period by implementing WATCH (Work Activity Targeting the Control of Hazards) program. Permit to Work System:

Ensuring the strict compliance of work system in live LNG plant and in construction projects.(I.e. Naked flame into hazardous plant area. Confined space work(Vessel entry), Working at height and depth, Working on electrical system, Excavation work, Cold work and hot work, LOTO, Energy isolation, Road closer, Long/Awkward load lifting/transportation, Heavy equipment lifting & Radiography. Safe handling of Solvents/Explosive Chemicals. Risk Assessment:

Very important as they form an integral part of an occupational health and safety management plan. Performs Risk Assessment to identify risk and develop effective, methods for Risk control and management. Having good knowledge in EHS, Always Provides support for Process safety Management (PSM). Risk management planning (RMP), including participation in HAZOP Studies, process design reviews, PSSR, etc.

OHS & SMS System (ISO 45001):

we supervisors' responsibility in occupational health and safety work is determined by the powers related to their tasks and responsibilities. Clearly defining. We prepare and ensuring an occupational health and safety committee is an advisory group made up of management and worker representatives. ... Committees identify and evaluate concerns, make recommendations for corrective action and promote health and safety in the workplace to reduce accidents and injuries. We proper preparation and following the SMS .the SMS continuous improvement process that reduces hazards and prevents incidents. Plant and Equipment Inspection:

Proper Safety precautions are taken during handling of Hazardous materials, all solvents and flammable material storage tanks as per “The Chief Controller of Explosives in India”. Ensuring that only inspected and certified plants and equipment (i.e. Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic tools and equipment) are in use at site.

Periodic audits of the Employees work activity, facility therein and evaluation. Accident Investigation:

Investigate all incidents i.e. Near Miss/Personnel Injury/Property Damage/Dangerous occurrences,CAPA,RCA by root cause analysis and recommending corrective measures to prevent reoccurrence and developing action taking register for follow up & records.

Daily EHS Meeting:

Conduct and participate in daily safety coordination meeting with Site employees and client safety representatives and highlighting the safety concerns at site, planning for new activities and action taken on previous issues. Review and monitors Site Employees/workmen’ safety program. 5

Safety Promotional and awareness activities:

Shop floor talks, National Safety and yearly safety festivals publications. Coordinate with various departments for safety related issues. Safety Audit & Safety Inspection:

Work Permit System, Emergency Procedure, Annual internal audits and general checklists. Implementing 5S workplace organization. Daily plant safety visit, Plant & Machineries Equipment’s and General Safety Checklists. Reporting:

Preparation and submitting weekly and monthly MIS-EHS reporting to higher authority and head office and client. Hazardous Waste Handling & Storage:

Solvents & Petrochemicals (Solvent Chemicals, LNG, LPG, EO,MTO, Xylene, Butonal, Ethylene Oxide, Mono Ethylene Glycol etc.), and other hazardous chemicals i.e. Chlorine, Carbon Disulfide, Nitric Acid, Sulphuric acid, Ileum, Hydrochloric acid, Ammonia etc.
