PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

I am well-trained in managing neurotrauma cases as well as elective surgeries including Aneurysm clipping, tumour surgeries, spine surgeries including microdiscectomies, pedicle screw fixation and spinal tumours, endoscopic hematoma evacuation. I have good exposure in working in a government tertiary referral centre with minimal setup as well as in a private medical college with all the advanced equipments including O-arm, C-arm, Intra-op MRI, Neuronavigation, Brain & Spine suite. I am academically oriented and I keep learning and updating myself in my field. I believe in teamwork and will work hard to uphold the high standard and good reputation of my unit and my hospital.

DETAILS OF PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Working as consultant ( Full-time) in a private medical college in Nepal while pursuing ACNS fellowship in skull base & microvascular Neurosurgery since last 1 year.

Worked as assistant professor in general surgery department which is a renowned tertiary care centre and also a medical college with both undergraduates and post graduates in general surgery. I have been taking academic sessions and CMEs regularly as well as handling both elective and emergency cases.

Worked as consultant general surgeon and resident in Neurosurgery department, Maruti hospital, Trichy and operated and took care of the surgery and trauma cases, assisted neurosurgical cases both elective and emergency. Did Basic neurosurgical techniques and took care of outpatients and inpatients.

I did my post graduation under Professor Dr. Deepak Kabir with training in a wide spectrum of elective cases

Early outcome of Surgical intervention in subaxial cervical spine injuries-Original article published in the Volume 6,Issue & of International Journal of Research in Medical Sciences.(Corresponding Author).

Case Series of Vascular Malformations presenting as Seizure disorder –Published in Tamilnadu Dr MGR medical University ejournal in 2018.(Corresponding Author).

HONOURS AND AWARDS

Recipient of the Prestigious S Kalyanaraman Gold Medal award of the year 2018 in Neurosurgery.

Distinctions in various Undergraduate subjects like anatomy, Pharmacology and Ophthalmology.

Got the first prize in national level quiz competition conducted by association of surgeons of india conducted in ASICON 2012 held in Kolkata.

State level distinction in secondary school exam with district rank in 2001.
