• Prepare a daily Observation report and highlights the Hazards

• Conduct daily and weekly safety inspections with client

• Conduct special tool box talk meeting on daily basis for labors

• Monitor work pemit system and ensure all requirements on permit checklist are being followed prior to start of work.i.e. Lifting permits, Hot work permits, Work at height,Digging and General work permit( Reber Fabrication, casting) etc

• Identify additional safety training requirements to be delivered to the workforce

• Investigation unsafe acts and condtions and provide solutions to prevent recurrences

• Lead junior safety officers and safety assistants in an immediate response to incident and emergency situations that occurs on site, act as emergency marshals and provide first aid

• Place safety posters, Hazard flashes, site safety campaign promotional material and result of safety incentive schemes prominently on site

• Supervise project security plan/ layout and coordinate with safety manager

• The safety officer will correct unsafe acts or conditions through the regular line of authority, although the safety officer may exercise

• Emergency authority to prevent or stop Insafe acts when immediate action is required

• Conducting gas test for the excavation changing the confined space and also inspecting the requirement of confined space entry and attendant

• Immediate stoppage of any position that could cause any material or life injury
