PROFILE SUMMARY

Erection and Commissioning

Technical Responsibilities :

Mobilization of various contractors for Fabrication and Erection works in Boiler, ESP, Critical Piping, Ducting, coal piping in Thermal Power Plant.

Receive the drawings of Boiler and ESP, Read the drawing according to that prepare the Bill of Materials (BOM).

Arranging and distribute the Materials for making preassembly of BOILER and ESP Components and Accessories.

Allocation of various works in Boiler, ESP & FHS (FUEL HANDLING SYSTEM).

Following the IBR rules during pressure parts erection in Boiler and also arranges a visit for ground inspection.

Planning the erection sequence & follow the working activities.

Implementation of Safety culture on workplace by proper training and awareness.

Signing of Protocols, Records, Punching check list prior to Hydro test and carry out the hydro test, Chemical Cleaning and Steam blowing.

Carry out NDT as per Field Quality Plan implemented in various stages of fabrication & Erection.

Involved in supervision of Erection works of static and Rotating equipments such as fans, tanks etc.

Assisting commissioning Team in Pre – commissioning.

Carry out Fabrication, Erection & Commissioning of Ammonia Flue Gas Conditioning System to control stack emission.

Carry out Fabrication & Erection of Pipeline, Static and Rotary Equipment in Fluidised Catalyst Cracking Unit in Refinery project.

Heighlights

By implimenting one additional ash conveying line and changes in Logic system,ash conveying time was reduced from 6 hrs.to 4 hrs per cycle. Total power consumption was reduced from 44 MW/Day to 38 MW /Day.Savings of 18 lakhs/ month.

Turn around performance in Ash handling Plant in specific power consumption from 18 KW/MT to 13.6 KW/MT and reduction by implimenting number of power saving and innovative measures like Destaging of HP pump,LP optimisation,Hopper Heater and Vibrator. etc.

Self design and modified the undergroung heart line of power plant,ash desharge lines and HCSD lines to dyke by building new steel culvert and pipe conveyor bridge over road 100% reliability and trouble free operation of plant.

Identified the problem of seal water in Ash water recovery pumps and rectified,the pump were failed more than 100 times in previous three years savings of lakhs of funds.

Developed first time the metallic expansion joint inESP minor hopper to DEPAC vessel,reduced down time of ash conveying cycle leading to saving of extra running of two compressor for half hours and reducing maintenance cost approximately 5 Lakhs / year.

Resolve major failure in TAC compressor by root cause analysis and observation and implimented acid cleaning of coolers before and after rainy season.
