PROFILE

I am a multi-disciplinary Designer and Researcher, with a strong skill-set, encompassing a wide variety of abilities, from initial brainstorming and concept work right through to highly focused detail technical design. My wide experience has enabled me to build up an extensive knowledge bank of design issues and solutions. I am able to see the big-picture, and as a result I am very adept at problem solving. Holistic Medication Management (HMM) 2016

2016 Finalist of “Mobile in Health Care for Consumer” Design Competition in Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES)

The project goal is to develop an application for a patients using their smartphone that allows them to have complete (control) information to make informed choices of their prescribed medications, alternatives in the form of generic medications, insurance coverage, drug availability, and prices at nearby pharmacies.

Application is intuitive, and offers the users with a range of options such as smooth communication with physicians, provides medication reminders, a drug encyclopedia, a pill identifier, a comprehensive list of drug interactions and side effects, tracking and reminders for family members, and much more

2015 Finalist of “Patient Facing Mobile App” Design Competition in Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES)

I designed 2nd-opinion.md application to participate in the “mHealth Smartphone Applications for Consumers” Design Competition in conjunction with the 2015 International Symposium on Human Factors and Ergonomics in Health Care: Improving the Outcomes. The symposium takes place April 2015, at Baltimore, Maryland.

2nd-opinion.md helps connect patients with a qualified physician who can offer a fresh perspective on diagnosis or treatment. User-centered design methodology has been applied to create a non-profit and non-commercial application that helps cancer patients or their caregivers when they need a second opinion about important diagnoses or serious medical procedures and surgery.

WellDoc-BlueStar®, 2014

Creating High-fidelity prototype to use by FDA for the second generation of BlueStar® application. WellDoc began commercializing BlueStar® for adults with type 2 diabetes in 2014. BlueStar is the first mobile prescription therapy cleared by the FDA and prescribed by doctors that delivers real-time guidance to patients with type 2 diabetes.

Musketeers, 2014

Low Fidelity and conceptual design of administrator dashboard. Musketeers is vital in times of distress, and save lives of those close to you. Musketeer will alert other musketeers in immediate surroundings of distress region, show them where they are, and allow them to offer assistance.

Storyboard and Prototyping for MatchDog, 2014

Create a UX storyboard, analysis and prototype for the MatchDog mobile app that shows the primary content, common tasks and navigation between them. Prototype improved from low to clickable mid-fidelity in Axure RP7 and test in actual iOS device.

Usability Testing for AT&T/wireless, 2014

I participate a user research, consolidated in research findings and conduct usability testing in AT&T website. We identified important user flows and patterns and find many problems in flows and navigation.

App Design for Silicon Valley Advanced Transportation Networks (ATN), 2013

Utilized a full user-centered mobile application that would serve Silicon Valley Advanced Transportation Networks (ATN) for trip planning, direction, ticketing, warnings and alerts, and information. Applied scenarios and personas, sitemap construction, wire-framing, affinity diagramming, paper prototyping, low fidelity prototyping, design mockups, high fidelity prototyping with Axure, and usability testing to offer design recommendations.

Heuristic Evaluation for Tesla Motors, 2013

Conducted a heuristic evaluation of teslamotors.com, resulting in 7 major and 12 minor redesign recommendations. Presented findings visually with proposed redesigns.

Usability Analysis for Travelocity, 2013

Conducted a usability evaluation and analysis for components of travelocity.com. Applied paper prototyping, low and high fidelity prototyping, usability testing, and affinity diagramming to offer explicit design recommendations with an accompanying mockup.
