Maintained working knowledge and utilization of a broad range of instrumentation: BET, DSC, ICP, INSTROM, LECO, PRS, PSZ, PYC, SEM, and XRD. This position also required experience in Wet Chemistry that included running PBOs, AMADs, and Expanders. I was also responsible for calibrating all scales every morning, trouble shooting and preventive maintenance of all equipment. Reports were generated, data entered, file storage and results distributed. Computer skills included MS Office, Excel spreadsheets and emails. Also, trained new Lab Technicians.

Experienced Lab Technician that Audits product lines when necessary, Lab duties included calibrating and troubleshooting equipment every morning, printing and distributing paperwork for the day, grading for product release, and checking magnetic traps and signing off so production can begin. Equipment in this facility was auto titrators, water activity meters, refractrometers, PH meters, centrifuge and scales. Extensive use of MS Windows, Excel, Word and Power Point, daily emails. As a Line Auditor the product was visually monitored and evaluated before shipped, developed and submitted hold reports as needed, reports noted deficiencies to QA manager, Supervisor and Production Manager. I also trained all new lab techs and line auditors in all aspects of the job.

Accurately tested fat solubles on G.C., Minerals on A.A. and I.C.P., tested water solubles on H.P.L.C. for vitamins and herbs, all independent work. Precisely executed all steps of Standard Operative Procedures, Used USP testing for special samples and maintained Chemist log book, and implemented proper chain of custody. The results were released for quality control purposes. I was responsible for ordering all supplies, chemicals and equipment. NBTY was a strict GMP working environment.
