DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reviewing on and off board monitoring systems and equipment trend reports to look for
under performance in component or overall equipment performance
Building and assembling of all hydraulic hoses with permanent and reusable fittings
Carrying out component rebuilds on the following: Engines, final drives, transmissions,
torque converters, diffs, hoist cylinders and many other components
Carrying out planned preventive maintenance
Conducting daily running repairs and services
Carrying out mid and full life component change outs
Troubleshooting hydraulic malfunctioning
Replacing components such as final drives, pumps and engines
Troubleshooting of overheating of various machine systems
Troubleshooting and repairs of rough engine running
Replacing electronic unit injectors and calibrate trim codes
Calibrating various machine systems such as transmission calibration.
Carrying out various pressure tests on hydraulic systems
Recovering of broken-down machines from the field to workshop.
