To Communications and hiring team at Enterprise Solutions: After coming across your post on Linkedin and learning more about Enterprise Solutions I knew I had to apply and am eager to submit my application for Public Relations and Communications Assistant. I'd love to employ my customer service experience, my career as an arts administrator, and knowledge of the digital landscape in Marketing to this exciting opportunity. Throughout my entire career, positive and efficient customer service has been the key to success. Above all else, clients want to know their brand and product is being well represented performance-driven campaigns consistently look for innovative strategies to drive their company and respective brands forward and increase their bottom line. Clients relationships are the reason marketing organizations thrive and, given the opportunity, I’d love to further foster those connections and forge new ones within the greater Fairfax area. I’ve grown within The Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC) from a patron, to an intern, into a Manager giving me a unique perspective within an arts organization and specifically into what patrons want. Working within the Marketing team on projects ranging from visual merchandising in our stores to designing and promoting show-specific lobby experiences to analyzing sales data, I’ve used these experiences to create the best experience possible for every person who comes to our theater and would revel in the opportunity to test those skills in a new field.
Before STC I was a Communications & Marketing Ambassador for Washington College, The Marketing and Research Intern at EYP/AE, and a Production Intern at the Kennedy Center. All three experiences shaped my interest in arts promotion. At Washington College and EYP, I learned the value of cultivating a brand while homing in on the target audience. From those experiences, I was selected for the Kennedy Center’s internship where I learned about non- profit arts operations and what it takes to keep your community engaged. From there I moved to STC with the hopes of continuing my Marketing career, and while I’ve grown and proudly served the greater DC area, it is time for a new challenge. As a Fairfax resident and arts marketing professional, I’d love to bring my passion for marketing back to my home and use my skills in a new and exciting way. I hope to hear from y’all soon and if you have any questions, please reach out!
Best,
Leslie J. Rothstein
