To ensure the reliable operation of the unit by managing field operation & maintenance of BOP systems CWACW system, Misc. Pumps, service water, firewater, portable water, CT makeup, sump pumps etc.

To ensure the availability of major standby equipment with proper change over & periodic maintenance.

To monitor the systems & operational parameters of the equipment’s CWACW pumps, VAMs, chillers, AHU, Air Washers, cooling towers, pumps, fire water pumps, service water pumps, portable water pumps, CT make up pumps, cranes & hoists.

Responsible for PTW for maintenance of equipment’s through proper isolation as per SOPs and proper lock out/tag out for safety of equipment’s & people during shutdown work.

Planning & monitoring the shutdown work, ensure adequate availability of T&P and manpower to complete the work as per schedule mentioned in PTW.

To execute the Erection & Commissioning work according to the drawings, quality standards and with commissioning & safety procedures for 4X600 MW Thermal Power Plant.

Coordination with contract & purchase department for procurement of urgent material & deployment of contractor for Erection work, make NFA, take budget, and create PR (material & service). Follow up availability of materials & deployment of contractor.

Working knowledge in SAP (MM & PS module) make SES for Erection bill,Z-bill,PR,Material reservations, Gate Pass etc.Review Billing documents (Supply & Erection)as per PO.

From Oct. 2007 to April 2009

BHEL (PSWR) 2 X 250 MW NTPC –SAIL Power Company Limited Expansion Project, Bhilai (C. G.).

Pre- commissioning, Commissioning activity of TG. Aux. System BFP, CEP, DMCW pumps, CW System, ACW booster pump, vacuum pumps, Condenser, De-aerator. Aux. Steam system, gland steam system, lube oil cooler, AOP, JOP, and control valves, generator seal oil skid, HPLP bypass valves.

Oil flushing & Hydro test of lube oil & jack oil system. Hydro test, chemical cleaning & steam blowing for TG & Aux. piping. All start up test of TG Aux. equipment’s from TG rolling to full load operation of Turbine. Make punch point/ check list & rectify problems to achieve full load operation& COD of unit.

Co-Ordination with contractors & sub contractors for timely completion of erection work as per commissioning schedule. Ensure all the equipment’s are erected as per P& I D diagram.

Operation of CW ACW system, DMCW system, BFP, AOP, JOP, CEP. Steam charging main steam line, HRH, CRH, Aux Headers, Gland sealing, HPLP bypass, De-aerator pegging. Steam dumping.

Co-ordination with boiler inspector office govt. of Chhattisgarh for boiler registration & other IBR related work.
