Job Responsibilities

Prepare the Master production schedule to ensure maximum efficiency of the line by analysing the customer requirement and orders, analysing the loading capacity of machine and manpower utilisation

Plan and schedule the detailed workflow for each department and operation accordingly

Plan for each shifts or late hours working

Execute the target of work as per plan, material planning for production at the machine as per plan in advance

Update the Production plan in case of any Non-compliance or change in Production Priorities.

Monitor plan v/s actual plan on daily basis and coordinating .with production and materials for execution of Production plan

To communicate / Co ordinate with sales and prepare report / MIS daily/ weekly / monthly.

Sound knowledge on tools such as Axapta, ERP/Oracle & MS office.

Conduct root-cause analysis in case of unusual variance between plan and actual variance.

Aggregate Planning for the Month.

Monitoring Production loss and make the required changes in the Production schedule and material schedule accordingly in consultation with production head, plant head and purchase head.

Plan, control and monitor the WIP (work in Progress) so as to plan production accordingly.

Knowledge of BRC-IOP and OHSAS (ISO 18001- 2004)

Provide inputs to the production in case of significant production fluctuations so special action can be taken

Establish stock policies for Finished Goods & Periodically review the stock levels & take necessary actions

Planning for labels division for every SKU wise and follow up till the shipment.

Attend production meeting shop floor meeting project review meeting etc for production related discussions

Occasional interaction with inter unit plant for job loading if capacity is not fulfilled.

PRACTICAL GEAR DESIGN

The objective of our project is to design a gear instantaneously based on IS 4460 and PSG by getting the required data from the user and all calculation of stresses are carried out on the computer. Thus the designer can have a detailed study of effect of various factors on design, as a number of options of material selection, application and many other are available to the designer.
