Duties and Responsibilities

Organizing and conducting site HSE induction regarding awareness of personal HSE responsibilities, emergency evacuation method,client regulations, site HSE regulations including traffic regulations, legal regulations, incident prevention and reporting system for all new employees and visitor prior to their assignment at site.

Implementation of HSE policy, HSE regulations, coordinating with client/consultant for ensuring their instructions are following on site by all personal to perform task in very safe manner and all persons are wearing proper personnel protective equipment as appropriate for the task.

Promote " incident prevention and Safety Awareness” through general safety orientation and training to all workforce, supervisory staff and visitors on the project.

Preparation of Job Safety Analysis (JSA) /Risk Assessment and organizing JSA meetings with authority prior to start the activity.

Display of safety informative specific signs, general safety signs, project HSE performance statistics reports, safety bulletins and company HSE policy statement.

Coordinate and conduct toolbox meetings with supervisors and engineers to the workforce and confirm that task risk information and safety instructions are being passed to the workforce on a daily basis as per the activities.

Administrate client and company Health, Safety, Environment plan, procedure, attending weekly Client/Consultant /Principal Contractor HSE meeting and site inspection.

Monitor and advise to improve the safe working conditions and safe working practices on site. Ensure that the personal protective equipment is worn appropriately for the specific task and all subcontractors comply fully with the company safety requirements.

Identify the Potential hazards, implement appropriate and adequate preventive control measures to all work activities before commences.

Conduct monthly safety meeting with site personnel, equipment operators and subcontractors in order to communicate the recent HSE related issues, safety flash, required precaution and awareness to improve the HSE performance status.

Organize site area safety with fire precautions as required and ensure the compliance is relevant to prevent incidents.

Coordinate for emergency evacuation drill, spillage prevention drill and fall rescue drill on site and provide training to promote positive HSE culture to report Near miss, hazard observations, incident reporting and maintaining a safe & healthy hygiene system. Organizing timely inspection and colour coding of heavy equipment’s, vehicles, power tools, Lifting gears as per schedule. SRAVAN SAJI
