Micro Strategy, a 3rd party application used to produce analytical reporting, is no longer being supported and companywide plans to discontinue use of this software application are currently underway.

As part of this migration effort from Micro Strategy, the MST Logistics group is introducing a new Business Intelligence solution from Microsoft which includes SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), PowerPivot and Power View. This new solution will provide to our business community a complete set of ready-to-use tools and services for users to create, manage, and deliver a variety of interactive and printed reports via SharePoint.

Responsibilities:

Worked as MSBI Designer, in designing and implementing the solution.

Worked with the Macy’s Logistics SME in the requirement gathering phase.

Designed the ETL data model based on the existing database table structures.

The automatic re-calculation tool will process the ROF adjustments based on the filters selected and ROF adjustments entered by the Inventory Planners.
