Duties and Responsibilities :-
Reviewing all contractual requirements and obtain clarifications on unclear issues including technical/commercial clarifications.
Reviewing the IFC drawings, Specification, B.O.Q Quantities and raise queries to estimation department on unclear items.
Taking responsibility for ensuring that there is effective planning and monitoring of the works and communicating this to the Main Contractor/Client
Developing project plans and work with factory / design / structural and other teams to build objectives and calculate time frames for various stages of the project
Submitting Drawings, Structural Calculation and Materials for approval. Coordinating with the client, Main contractor & consultants for approvals of materials and drawings
Read, Study and Understand the Method of Statement of the work prior to execution and implementing on site. Able to analyze and troubleshoot project execution issues.
Coordinating with the all Site Engineers, Foreman’s and make them understand the drawing and give instructions for daily program of works and Supervise / guide the labours and Monitoring the project according to the project schedule.
Preparing documents of project work in raising Inspection Request (IR) and Material Inspection Request (MIR) in controlling all inspection activities at site
Ensuring the works are installed strictly in accordance to the shop drawings and the Page 3 of 4
methodology dictated by the system adopted
Coordinating with the QA/QC engineers & consultants for MIR and IR approvals.
Attending all project-related meetings
Co-ordinate with the Design team in planning and development of practical technical details suitable for the requirements of the project
Co-ordination with the Purchase and Production department to deliver the materials according to the construction schedule
Ensuring the Factory production programme is in accordance with the approved and agreed construction schedule and deliveries to site are co-ordinated with the progress of the works.
Allocating the manpower as per requirement of project, closely monitoring on-site work activities to ensure effective resource utilization and thereby maximize the output.
Plan, organize and monitor execution of project day to day activities such as engineering, surveying, delivery and installation as per agreed schedule
Oversee the performance of all trade subcontractors and ensure that all specifications and regulations are being followed.
Notifying the delays by sending letter to the Main contractor for the delay in Material and Drawing approvals to claim for EOT
Replying to the Main contractor letters
Notifying the delays by sending letter to the Main contractor for the delay in site Clearances and delays in the Civil works as per baseline program.
Developing and implementing cost related work processes and procedures for optimal and logical billing of the completed work
Assisting the Quantity surveyor in preparation of variations, monthly progress claims, valuations and certificates
Providing all detailed documents necessary for release of payments & billing.
Coordinating with the Client’s representative for approval of Payments & Handing over the project successfully and maintain a trusted relationship with Client, Consultant, Main contractor and Sub contractors.
