Current Job Summary Details:

Inspect all the workplace to ensure its safe and free from any hazards for all Workers, Engineers and Management to coordinates with all engineers regarding the expected work activities in order to plan in advance proactive safety measures to eliminate any possibility of accidents or incidents.

Reports and assist the Safety Manager in enforcing safe work practices and remedy for any unsafe working conditions present at the workplace without stoppage of work, review the method statements of any work activities and ensure that safety procedures are not compromised.

Conduct Safety induction/orientation to newly arrived workers before sending to job site in order to ensure newly workers to aware of the potential hazards of the workplace and emergency procedures of the job-site.

Conduct weekly toolbox meeting for corrective measures and constantly remind the workers the correct attitude in the workplace is necessary to prevent accident/incident and delays to the project.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Develops implements & manage the injury/illness prevention program & direct coordinates the participation of departments within the programs.

Conduct regular safety audits of departments including the inspection of facilities, worksites equipment for safe work practices.

Investigates serious accidents and or incidents of injury or property damage at worksites to ascertain cause & needed for corrective actions.

Coordinates plans & implements the action & recommendations of the safety committee to provide technical assistance and advice to the committee.

Meets regularly with risk management staff to ensure appropriate action is taken in compliance with safety policies to correct hazardous conditions which results in workers compensation claims.

Develops or contributes to other publications to communicate safety standards, policies & goals to departments improve awareness of safety issues.

Reports directly to the Project Manager and administers HSE Program and provides advice on:

Prevention on injury to personnel, damage to property and fire.

Provision and the use of protective clothing and equipment.

Monitors, audits and evaluates effectiveness of HSE Program as to implementation and administration. Make sure that initiatives corrective action is undertaken.

Familiar with the Company HSE Program as well as Clients HSE Regulations for implementation.

Conduct regular site survey to see that only safe work methods are in operation and that Health, Safety and Environment are properly maintained.

Investigates accidents and determines the cause of any accident or dangerous occurrences and recommends means of preventing.

Conducts HSE briefing/orientation of newly hired employees and assist training employee at all levels.

Reports and assist in over all implementation of Health and Safety Environment plan for project, reports on job HSE performances.

Conducts regular weekly safety inspection and audit, prepares weekly safety and statistics report.

Prepare job hazard analysis and monitor compliance of workers regarding pre-task procedures (work plan).

Conduct daily safety talks related to present work activity and previous safety requirements.

Responsible in issuing the disciplinary action on all safety related violation. Submit recommendation regarding safety incentives for workers who shown safety compliance and good examples among workers.

Fosters within the Company and understanding that injury prevention and damage control are integral part of business and operational efficiency.

Advises or directs the Supervisor in charge to correct any HSE violations detected and committed by project personnel.

Has the authority to immediately stop any segment of work or in some cases, the entire operation whenever it is unsafe, and immediately refer the matter to the Project Manager for rectification.
