Job Title: Manufacturing Manager

I am responsible for the execution of plans to attain manufacturing goals, expand production capabilities, and development of quality systems. I assist company officers and senior staff members in development and formulation of long and short range planning, programs, and objectives.

Duties include:

Manage all production, assembly and distribution activities.

Supervise all facility employees, including hiring, reviewing and terminating.

Responsible for inventory control.

Manage the building and equipment maintenance.

Work with the IT department to improve ERP utilization.

Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer / Supervisor

Manage Manufacturing Engineers (Valencia & Nogales) in promoting growth and changes in the current processes.

Create work instructions (i.e. Step –By- Step photographs with written instructions in English and Spanish)

Re-evaluation of all tooling used, methods, processes, etc.

MRB board member AS9100 compliant

Create and design tool fixtures to support assembly process using Catia software

Coordinate with Design Engineering, Quality and Production.

Perform Quality Inspection- perform Quality Engineering .

Perform Root Cause analysis and Corrective Action. Implement Preventive Actions.

Manage scrap for both sites and report daily progress to senior management.

The document and process I developed is called “Squawks” which permits the floor operator or assembler to record a concern regarding process flow or procedure.

TIMCO AEROSYSTEMS- Recognized for Production supervision for the new assembly line. I was instrumental in developing the assembly line for double and triple passenger seats. The team and I reduced TAT and OTD with high Quality standards.

SEMCO INSTRUMENTS- Recognized for developing, organizing and managing the manufacturing FAA Repair station. Formally known as MRO- Manufacturing, Repair and Overhaul.

OTD was measured in 2012 at +15 days. By mid year 2014, OTD was less than 10 days.

LEX PRODUCTS- Recognized for executing my plans to relocate our facility – on time. Production was off-line for 3 days instead of 2 weeks as originally planned.
