This is a Joint Base Charleston, USACE project to repair two 18” jet fuel “A” receipt lines. This encompasses abrasive blasting, painting, and new concrete pipe supports with HDPE rests, for 3.9 miles of pipe work and supports.

My duties were overseeing all environmental permits and interaction with base civil engineering, SCDHEC, and our outside contract engineering for SWPPP and wetlands permits.

Ensure that any necessary licenses and permits are obtained; and that they are properly displayed with a copy in the project files prior to commencement of related work.

Ensure that the project prime contractors maintain as-built documentation.

Oversee and manage all subcontracts for the project, staffing, work assignments, job site organization, and overseeing job site safety.

Responsibility for planning, coordinating, evaluating, and scheduling the work to ensure that required standards of quality, schedule, cost goals, and contract compliance are met. Assure all work is installed in accordance with contract documents. Proficiency in all divisions of work, methods, materials, scheduling and cost control.

Also responsible for interaction with Naval Weapons Station base utilities, dig permits, all contract security issues, and with DFSP fuel support and fuel transfer.

Scheduled, managed, and coordinated all aspects of the new construction of a modular HRSG, start up and commissioning. This was a single wide, modular unit behind twin 85 Mw GE gas turbine, or a combined cycle power plant.

Coordinated estimating and pre-construction efforts, oversee project requirements, and benchmarks.

Managed labor requirements and productivity, generate tracking reports.

I also developed solutions to cost challenges, tracked and reported safety metrics.

Managed, and coordinated all phases of new construction, commissioning, and startup of a small 3.6 Mw ORC, Binary power plant. Refrigerant used was 134a, with water condensing.

This is a single unit power plant with a single output. Overall responsible for management of a $40 million project.

My responsibilities encompassed installation of all contract mechanical, (piping, duct work etc...) work, Turbine expander (BNI), gear boxes, also plant condensing to include all structural, installation of modular skids and associated piping, through plant commissioning, startup and close out.

My role was to establish, and maintain professional relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers and managing the field labor force and negotiations with subcontractors.

My other responsibilities were for overseeing the administration and execution of assigned project, and contractors in a safe, profitable and timely manner and within customer specifications and expectations.

Duties were to assume shared customer interface for engineering, deliver and construction issues with TAS Sr. Project Management.

Managed the installation and implementation of all plant controls, PLC, HMI screens. Confirm and demonstrate functionality of processed controls, working with onsite controls engineers to completion and turnover to end user.

Directed and managed the installation of turbine inlet cooling for two GE 50 Mw gas turbines. Responsible for all construction and pipe installation, also refrigerant handling and transfer. This was a plant chiller retrofit, all equipment was FES. Two 2500-ton chillers in series, approximately 80, 000 lbs. of refrigerant R-22
